Fiction is deliberately used to envisage what reality may present to us sooner than we think. The same sometimes apply to architectural concepts. But the interesting thing is when daily newspaper reality surpasses fiction.
Lately some blogs were propagating the news about swimming pools that are being potencially transformed into granny homes.
Reality folows fiction and fiction follows reality.
As it it was hinted at in other cases, it may be a logical step to turn swimming pools into aquaculture sumps. This is also what Bruce Sterling at some point suggests in his in-depth scenario of post-suburbia soon to be revealed in the first edition of BEYOND.
But bunkerising pools to store the elderly?
Wild.
